Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

ADS Facades Ltd (“ADS Facades”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and in the course of our business, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UK GDPR”) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

ADS Facades Ltd is the “controller” of your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 15354885. Our registered office is 87 Collingwood Road, Uxbridge, England, UB8 3EL.

Contact us about privacy matters at office@adsfacades.co.uk or on +44 7956 597465. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer because we are not required to; the contact above deals with all data protection queries.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Enquiry and quotation requests – name, company, email address, telephone number, the service and project type you are interested in, the project details you choose to give us, and which button or page of our website you used to contact us.
  • Live chat – the messages you send, any name, email address or telephone number you give us, the page you were on, and the time of the conversation.
  • Business relationship data – names, job titles, business contact details and correspondence of people at our clients, prospective clients, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants, including tender and project records.
  • How you found and used our website (only if you contact us) – while you browse, your browser keeps a short list in its memory (it is not saved in a cookie or on your device) of the website or search engine that referred you, the page you landed on, the sections and buttons you used and the device type. If you submit the enquiry form or send a live-chat message, it is sent with your message so that we understand which of our services interested you.
  • Live visitor information – while the website is open, it sends our server a short, anonymous “visit” record every few seconds: a random identifier that exists only in your browser’s memory, your IP address, the type of device, browser and screen size, your language, the website that referred you, and the sections of the page you viewed. We use it to see how many people are on the website, to help our team answer live-chat requests and to understand which services interest visitors (our legitimate interests). It is not linked to your name unless you contact us, it is not shared with advertisers and it is deleted after 30 days. You can switch it off at any time (see the Cookies Policy), and it is not sent if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal.
  • Email delivery and read information – emails we send you (such as an acknowledgement of your enquiry or a reply) contain a small image that tells us whether the message was delivered to your mail server and opened, and when.
  • Technical data – IP address, browser type and device information, and pages requested, recorded in server logs and used for security and fault-finding.
  • Cookies – see our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health or criminal-offence data) through this website, and our website is not directed at children. Please do not include such data in your messages.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where necessary with:

  • service providers acting on our instructions (website hosting and infrastructure, email and IT support, accountancy and software providers);
  • professional advisers (solicitors, accountants, insurers and auditors);
  • clients, principal contractors, designers and system suppliers, where an enquiry or project requires it;
  • regulators, law-enforcement or other authorities where we are required or permitted by law; and
  • a buyer or successor, if our business or assets are sold or restructured.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When you visit, your browser sends your IP address to Google to retrieve those fonts. Google acts as an independent controller of that data; see Google’s privacy policy for details.

5. International transfers

We aim to keep personal data in the UK or the European Economic Area. If a provider processes data elsewhere, we ensure a lawful transfer mechanism applies (such as a UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries and chat transcripts that do not lead to work: up to 24 months from the last contact.
  • Client, project, quotation and contract records: for the duration of the relationship and generally 6 years after it ends (or longer where required for tax, insurance, building-safety or limitation purposes, for example for the period in which a claim could be brought on completed works).
  • Server logs: up to 12 months.

When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the legislation, you have the right to: be informed about our use of your data; access a copy of it; have inaccurate data rectified; have it erased; restrict processing; data portability; object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing (an absolute right); and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.

To exercise a right, email office@adsfacades.co.uk. We may ask for proof of identity and will normally respond within one month. There is no fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, hashed passwords and activity logging. No internet transmission is completely secure, so please take care what you send us.

If you have a concern, please contact us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the date above.
